The robotic welding station allows us to carry out large production runs with short lead times and high quality weld joints. Equipped with two numerically controlled dividing heads, the station is suitable for continuous robot operation without downtime caused by tool arming with new workpieces to be welded.
The Fronius 400i welding generator features the unique patented CMT technology. With its use, it is possible to reduce the amount of welding spatter to a minimum. One thing that is unique in the CMT method is the welding wire feeding; the wire is not only fed forward during the welding process, but also withdrawn. Using the technology, it is possible to weld very thin materials, including non-ferrous metals, e.g. aluminium.
The CMT method is suitable for more precise control of arc parameters than conventional MIG/MAG methods. CMT has gained considerable popularity in many industries, such as automotive.
